What is your referral guarantee?

When you choose the referrals that you want from our contractor’s marketplace, we stand behind the quality of those referrals. Therefore, we have our referral guarantee. If the referral that you choose is bogus, then you shouldn’t have to pay for it. To be eligible to dispute a referral under our Referral Guarantee:
  1. Contractor must have attempted to contact the Project Owner within 24 hours from receiving the referral.
  2. Contractor shall allow Project Owner up to 5 (five) days to respond.

Eligible contractors may dispute a referral within 10 (ten) days after receiving the referral if:

  1. Contractor was unable to contact the Project Owner, orally, in writing, or in any other form.
  2. Referral has invalid phone number and invalid email address.

How many other contractors receive the same referral?

The referral gets to choose how many quotes they would like to receive. Typically it is three; however it may be as many as ten. Each referral clearly states how many quotes have been requested.

How are referrals added to my account?

No referrals are ever assigned to your account. You have complete control at all times as to which referrals you are interested in and which ones you are not. Only pay for the referrals that you choose after you thoroughly review them. There is no subscription or any kind of minimum or maximum to the number of referrals that you can choose to add to your account.

How am I notified about new assigned referrals?

When a referral comes in that matches the criteria set by you in your marketplace, you will be notified in real time by email. But you better be quick, once it is purchased by the requested number of contractors, it is dropped from the marketplace.

What cities will I get referrals from?

You will only receive referrals from the cities you select in your marketplace. Tip: Choose all the cities nearby or within your target area, otherwise, you could miss out on many referrals near your city.

How do I define what type of referrals I want?

In the contractor’s marketplace, there are controls that you can use and set to exactly what you are looking for. When there is a match, you will be notified.

How do I dispute a referral?

If your referral meets the Referral Guarantee requirements you may dispute it. To dispute a referral click on the referral from your Dashboard page and then click the Dispute Bogus Referral button under the left control panel. Follow the steps on the referral dispute page and submit your dispute. After TradeCompete.com receives your referral dispute, a representative will conduct a thorough investigation on the dispute. The verification process may take up to 5 business days. You will be contacted via email or phone upon resolution. If the referral dispute is valid you will receive full points back in your account for the referral disputed. Contractors are allowed a maximum of 3 (three) declined disputes within a twelve month period. After 3 (three) declined disputes within a twelve month period, TradeCompete.com may suspend the dispute privilege. Suspended contractors will lose their dispute privileges until the beginning of the next twelve month period from the last declined dispute. We put this policy in place to ensure contractors aren't abusing the dispute process.

What is your refund policy?

There is no refund of points purchased. Points may be replaced,but cannot be refunded.
